LiL MiK_e returns with his second album "Sellout"
Having already played his first show with GothBoiClique members Wicca Phase Springs Eternal and Horse Head, supporting If I Die First (From First To Last, nedarb, LiL Lotus, Lil Zubin), Justin Stone and Adrian Stresow in his hometown, and working with artists like LiL Lotus, Zac Eisenstein (Man Overboard), nedarb (Lil Peep, Brennan Savage), Taylor Morgan (Garden Avenue), Fantasy Camp (Misery Club, Wild Red) and more; Phoenix, Arizona’s LiL MiK_e brings a fresh new sound to the alternative scene with second album ‘Sellout'.
Taking a wide range of influences from Blink-182, Lil Peep, Wicca Phase Springs Eternal, KennyHoopla, and Sum 41; through emotional guitars, driving synthesizers, slapping 808s, and raw emotional melodies held together by passionate lyrics, LiL MiK_e has made a name for himself. These heartbreak anthems led to collectively 2,151,894+ Spotify streams on MiK_e’s debut album ‘Memories’ released back in December of 2019.
Paying homage to his favorite band Blink-182 ‘Mikey182’ (2021) was debuted on the radio station he listened to growing up 93.3 ALT AZ on the Mo Show and also spun again the following week on our show PopRocks on Radio Free Brooklyn. SoundCloud endorsed his song ‘The Emotional Vampire Wins Again’ (2021) by liking it on SoundCloud and adding it to the link&build playlist highlighted on their main page ran by Masked Gorilla. Jesea Lee from High Road Publicity also reviewed his recent single ‘Good Time’ on Tik Tok and Instagram.
‘Sellout’ is for fans of Lil Peep, Blink-182, jxdn, KennyHoopla, Sueco, and nothing,nowhere. This album was made possible because of MiK_e’s amazing team: JJ Catalyst (ShowTime, Disney, Noah Davis), Zach Winters (Juice WRLD), Halen Bou (Call Me Karizma), and Seth Smades (Disney, Camila Cabello, Bebe Rexha).
